Farm Solution Service Specialist

KHE Tractor BU Service

Attached to the Business Unit Service of Kubota Holdings Europe, the Farm Solution Service Specialist will deal with: issues of products in the service reported to Kg Mechatronics (KgM) service / report from regional service managers and Precision Farming Specialists (PFS) in each country / report line to Tractor BU Service (solid line) and KgM (dotted line) / alignment with KFM. The scope of territory is Europe and near/middle east only.

Scope of products:

– FMEA (failure mode early analysis): follow up prototype testing and give the feedback to KgM.
– FTA (fault tree analysis)

  • KgM
    • KgM electric auto steering
    • KgM accessories (camera etc.)
    • Connectivity between tractor and implement
    • KgM licenses (GEOCONTROL, Implement license)
    • KgM monitors
    • KgM Telematics like Farm Centre and Kubota
  • KFM
    • Hydraulic auto steering for M7
    • GPS including RTK

Major purpose

  • Field support and advice on request from regional service managers/PSS, dealers and customers regarding needs they have.
  • Assist and support on request from regional service managers/PSS, dealers for installing and commission systems.
  • Train regional service managers/PSS
  • Technical and Product/ Sales Training.
  • Field assistance and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with factories on FS Products.
  • Develop service statistics and technical analysis and manage all the reports coming from QUEST and K E Service. 2

Main duties and responsibilities

Provide quick field assistance to regional service managers/PSS for the best customer satisfaction.

  • Organize field test for ensuring the quality and reliability of current and new solutions with KgM.
  • Advice regional service managers/PSS about developments needs following the technology progress including new software update.
  • Prepare for service training materials together with KgM design engineers.
  • Join the PlugFest by AEF to check the compatibility.
  • Set up field event and show including demo materials and promote PFS solution.
    → should be discussed the detailed role with Sales/Marketing dept. in Tractor BU.

  • Must have good technical knowledge and qualification of electric engineering and AG and/or Groundcare engineering.

  • People management, time management and IT skills are requested to meet with the daily tasks he does.
  • Car driving license mandatory.
  • Capability of tractor and truck driving.
  • Knowledge of dealer network environment and business flow.
  • Willing to travel into difficult environments and/or for extended periods of time.

Experience

  • Has covered a job with AG or Groundcare engineer knowledge.
  • Has Service experience with AG machines manufacturers or dealer.
  • Has direct contact with people as customers or dealer’s technician (technical trainer, product support specialist, dealer’s service manager…).
  • Has been Precision Farming Specialist as dealer or manufacturer.

Location

  • For training period (min. 6 months), should be stationed at KgM in NV for connection/relationship building.
  • After the training period, can be stationed in home country and stay 1 week a month to keep connection with KgM and have regular KgM training.
