To meet construction and infrastructure demands across Europe, whilst complying with strict emission and noise requirements, Kubota’s future solutions for construction feature next-generation, sustainable engine technology. These include the development of alternative power sources such as electricity, LPG and HVO, alongside Kubota’s core technology – diesel power.
At bauma 2022, the new U36-4 Electric mini excavator and RT210-2e/RT220-2e electric compact wheel loaders will be the latest additions to Kubota’s Smart Energy Solutions range.
These machines deliver all the performance and reliability you’d expect from a Kubota combined with ultra-low environmental impact. The current range includes an LPG mini-excavator and electric compact tracked dumpers which offer high levels of productivity with zero or low emissions.

The Kubota all-electric RT210-2e and RT220-2e wheel loaders are designed to perform just as effectively as our diesel versions, but with zero emissions. These powerful wheel loaders offer loading versatility - the RT210-2e offers a long loading swing for increased reach, whereas the RT220-2 offers a shorter loading swing for increased lift capacity and stability. Thanks to a 260Ah/48v lithium-ion battery, Kubota's electric wheel loaders are capable of a full day's work from a single charge. Rapid superchargers can reduce the time to recharge from a 7 hour overnight session to just 90 minutes. More than fifty attachment options are available for superb versatility.

Since 2010, Kubota CTLs equipped with diesel engines have been sold only in North America and Australia, the main markets for CTLs.
However, with the growing interest in CTL in Europe today, we believe it is time to expand our products to the European market as well.
We hope to contribute further to society in the European market by introducing our premium products based on the technological know-how we have gained in the North American market.
Kubota will present a concept model at this year's bauma, which is equipped with a new type of micro hybrid engine.
The micro hybrid engine aims to achieve, both a smaller base engine and sufficient performance by using an electric motor to assist power output.
With Kubota's Hybrid SVL75 compact tracked loader, you can reduce your overall running costs and fuel consumption by using a combination of electric and conventional power. The powerful electric motor automatically activates when the loader needs an additional and rapid power boost to deal with increased workloads. Performance is uncompromised, with lifting capacity just as high as a non-hybrid model.
