Weeders IC4000F

The Kubota inter-row cultivator, IC series, is set up to weed between the rows in row crops as well as in cereals. The Kubota IC series range of 3 models defined by their linkage: Standard, compact or integrated. Here, the IC4000F is equipped with the integrated linkage of the guidance interface.

The inter-row cultivator, Kubota IC series, adapts to individual farming concepts and a wide range of applications. It is quickly adjusted for many different crops and row widths due to the frame design. Moreover, the working width can be extended in order to meet the requirements of various field and farm sizes. Individual rows can be switched on and off. An even depth and pressure control is ensured over the entire working width.

The IC4000F model is offered in working width of 8.10 to 12.10m and is equipped with the integrated linkage to have a perfect cohesion between the Inter-row cultivator and guidance interface – a prerequisite for working with this wide frame.

The Kubota IC series cuts the roots of the weeds as closely to the plants as possible without damaging the crops by ensuring the straight line within the row. In addition, by cracking the capped surface on certain soils after rain, it promotes the seed emergence and restores the water and airflow, stimulating physico-chemical reactions and soil life. By creating an isulating layer stopping the capillary rising of water to the surface, the mechanical weeding process also increases the water reserve.
